Have you ever had that moment where you just KNOW that the Lord was speaking directly to you? It might be through someone else, it might be through a sermon, or even just a mere whisper of his voice into your ear...but you know that it was Him speaking ever so gently into your heart. I had that feeling this morning as I was driving home from work. I was singing along to an Audrey Asaad song, not thinking...just singing. All of a sudden I noticed the words I was singing "Don't lie to yourself, O my soul, just love your God.." Oh Jesus....thanking for for shedding light on things in my life that need correcting. In such a sweet way, He was directing me back to Him. Fix your eye on Jesus and on who He is...you will never be disappointed. "And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace."
Here is the song:
"In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and loved to think about Him." Malachi 3:16

“The journey not the arrival matters.” – T. S. Eliot
No...I haven't fallen off the pace of the planet. Yes...I have had a brain fart on what to blog about these past few months. The Queck household is always busy with life and each other....but nothing has seemed blog worthy as of recently. We just got back from a Caribbean get away though; I consider THAT blog worthy! ;) It was absolutely beautiful. We traveled to a little island called Antigua, where the sun is always shining and the people are more than friendly. Nothing like white sand beaches and bright blue waters. Ryan and I have always made traveling together a priority. Not only because there are so many places that we want to see together...but also because it is a way for us to make some really sweet memories before we add on to our family. Although I still see us traveling here and there when we have babies; it really won't ever be the same as it is for us now while we just have each other. Marriage is so great, ain't it?! Every season is so exciting! I never get tired of being Ryan's wife...pretty blessed!
Anyways, Antigua is an absolutely perfect get away for those of you looking for a QUIET vacation and a place that is family friendly. When we were looking for a place to book, I was concerned about the beaches being too packed because of Spring Break. Wrong: the island is not too commercialized, yet still has enough tourist attractions to keep you occupied for the week! I could have just laid out on the beach all week and jumped in the water, but that is NOT my husband. We went sailing, snorkeling, shell collecting, ECT. It was so fun. The water is so beautiful and the nightly sunsets were just the cherry on top. I love how our world is so diverse' how the Lord made every country so unique and beautiful in it's own way. And even though I thought I would never be ready to leave those sandy white beaches of Antigua....I was so happy when we got home to the Texas hill country. Life is sweet....
